Myssyfarmi: Lookbook AW23/24

We designed a lookbook and crafted images for a Nordic knitwear brand's AW23/24 collection.

Myssyfarmi is a farm-based design company located in Pöytyä, Finland. Every product is knitted by a real Myssy Grandma in Pöytyä using hand-dyed yarn from a local herd of Finnsheep. Everything at the farm is organic and original, and nothing is considered cool in Pöytyä — except when winter arrives.

We assisted Myssy in updating their yearly lookbook to create a cohesive brand aesthetic, building on our previous work of establishing a strong visual identity through photos and videos. The new lookbook format was designed to bring a fresh perspective to the new season and products, while preserving the consistent brand narrative set in Pöytyä.

Key objectives

  • Ensure a consistant, and Myssy’s recognizable aesthetic across the entire lookbook.
  • Clearly present new products and seasonal novelties, under a unified story
  • Effectively convey the brand’s unique story and values.

We created a new layout for the lookbook and a 3-day photoshoot to create the visuals – closely working with the Myssy team to ensure consistent story-telling throughout this new lookbook. For the story of the season, a strongly visual-first concept was created  – set in an old village school, a place that has functioned as a central location for the community throughout the years. The story, from the location to casting of locals and Myssy grannies, we created a story strongly tied with the values of Myssy, at the same time bringing a touch of new creativity:

Welcome to Pöytyä Art Camp – the ultimate place for dreams, limitless creativity and definitely not cool but warm fashion. The people you meet — brave, unique, and authentic — will show you the true, authentic side of this unique place and a state of mind.
